Dr. Adanna Chukwuma is Senior Director of Global Impact Measurement at Visa and Co-Chair of the ITU AI for Good Steering Committee. At Visa, she built the impact measurement practice from zero to 1, enabling 100+ initiatives reaching 2M+ people. A Harvard-trained health economist with over 15 years of international development experience, she previously led health engagements at the World Bank Group across Europe and Central Asia, directing portfolios exceeding $900 million that reached over 6 million people with essential social services. An Aspen Institute First Movers Fellow, Dr. Chukwuma bridges strategic innovation with measurable social impact across multilateral institutions, Fortune 500 companies, and non-profits. She holds a PhD in Health Economics from Harvard University, an MBA from Imperial College London, an MSc in Global Health Science from Oxford University, and a medical degree from Nigeria. Her thought leadership has been featured in major publications, including the Hill and Project Syndicate.
